Rehabilitation and slope stabilization of the Las Conchas Burn Scar Area. Site was completely denuded of vegetation with most of the trees severally burned. Slopes were very prone to sediment discharge to surrounding residences and roads, posing an extreme danger humans and wildlife.
Scope of work included slope stabilization of native vegetation, installing silt fence, sediment discharge dissipation and filtration devices, tree felling, and creation of check dams and planting terraces using onsite materials.
